Marion Vezzosi

Born in 1993, Marion began playing the trumpet at the music school of Commentry in Allier. She joined the conservatoire of Montluçon to study with André Bonnici until she obtained her baccalaureate.

At 18, she moved to Paris to attend the conservatoire of Aulnay-Sous-Bois in Pascal Clarhaut’s class. There, she earned her Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) and a degree in musicology from La Sorbonne (Paris IV). In 2014, she passed the entrance exam to the Pôle Supérieur 93 and then to the CNSMDP in 2015. She further refined her skills with Antoine Curé and Laurent Bourdon, and later with Marc Geujon and Alexis Demailly, earning a master’s degree with highest honors and summa cum laude.

In 2017, she joined the Paris Air Force Orchestra. A year later, she became a member of the Picardy Orchestra. In 2020, she joined the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra. Marion has also had the opportunity to be invited to play with other prestigious orchestras such as the Orchestre de Paris, the Radio France Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Orchestra of France, the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Cannes National Orchestra, to name a few.

Marion obtained honours at the “Girolamo Fantini” competition, third prize at the Théo Charlier Competition (2019), and “honours for the quality of sound” at the Maurice André competition (2021). Today, Marion continues to play with the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra and occasionnally performs as a soloist. Notably, she played Tomasi’s concerto and Gallois-Montbrun’s “Sarabande et Finale” in Caracas, in 2023. On this occasion, she also had the opportunity to give masterclasses to students of El Sistema.

Since September 2023, she has been a trumpet teacher at the conservatoire of Antibes.
