1040 FL

The 1040 FL Flugelhorn offers a smooth, warm characteristic sound while maintaining an even, controlled feel throughout the range of the instrument. It includes a 3rd valve trigger and two leadpipes providing different tapers for small as well as large shank (tapered mouthpieces). A custom leadpipe designed for use with French taper mouthpieces is available by special order.

1041 FLC

With a pure copper bell, the 1041 FLC offers a truly lush sound, full of overtones and warmth. Every flugelhorn comes standard with two leadpipes, designed for use with small morse taper and large more taper mouthpieces. A custom leadpipe designed for use with French taper mouthpieces is available by special order.

1042 FLB

The 1042 FLB is the newest addition to our Schilke Flugelhorn Series. It features a yellow brass bell that provides the admirable intonation and response found on the 1040 FL and 1041 FLC, but with slightly more brightness and tonal consistency in sound from low to high. This instrument will prove to be a versatile option for a wide variety of settings from brass band and chamber music to the jazz enthusiast.
